When do I install the interlock?
When you have completed your Behaviour Change Program (as instructed by VicRoads), you must then install an interlock device before you get your licence back.

Interlock Exemption Interview
If you have a drink driving offence that was committed prior to October 2014, you may be eligible to apply to VicRoads for an exemption from the alcohol Interlock condition prior to being relicensed. Odyssey House conducts the interview required as part of that application process.
By completing the Drink Drive Behaviour Change program, Drive Safe Drive Right will provide information to VicRoads in relation to your completion of the Behaviour Change Program.
The ‘Drink Driver Behaviour Change Program’ is a program approved by VicRoads under the Road Safety Act 1986. Drive Safe Drive Right is one of a number of providers approved by VicRoads to delivery Drink Driver Behaviour Change Programs.
