Our Drink and Drug Driver Behaviour Change Programs

The Drink and Drug Driver Behaviour Change Programs are approved by VicRoads under the Road Safety Act 1986. Drive Safe.Drive Right. Is one of a number of providers approved by VicRoads to deliver Drink and Drug Driver Behaviour Change Programs”.

Please ensure you have received your letter from VicRoads which indicates the correct BCP you need to complete. Drive Safe Drive Right WILL NOT REFUND you should you book into the incorrect course. If you are unsure, please email VicRoads DDD@roads.vic.gov.au 

ABOUT THE BEHAVIOUR CHANGE PROGRAM

One of the requirements in the state of Victoria if you have been caught for drink/drug driving is to compete as Behaviour Change Program. The Behaviour Change Program is designed to help you to understand the reason behind your drink or drug driving offences. By understanding the reasons behind our previous experiences, we can better plan for the future. We look at ways of reducing the risk of reoffending, and to develop positive strategies.

VicRoads will let you know which program you need to book into. There are currently 4 programs on offer:

Drive Safe. Drive Right. shall allow Program Participants to identify which Program they wish to enrol in. However, in so doing Program Participants are responsible for ensuring that the Program they enrol in is what has been specified by VicRoads. This is not Drive Safe. Drive Right.’s responsibility. You can contact VicRoads on 1300 310 607 to ensure which program you must enrol in.

The program is held in a group environment with other participants. You need to contribute to the discussions and complete questions in the Participant Handbook. If you meet all the participation requirements you’ll receive a Certificate of Completion at the end of the program.

What you need to bring on the day

You will need to bring evidence of your identity with you to attend the program and receive your VicRoads Safe Driving Program Completion Certificate. One the day of the program you will need to bring:
