Intensive Drink Drive Drug Drive Behaviour Change Program

If you had a second drink or drug-driving offence and your BAC was 0.15 or more, you need to participate in this program.The program is held over four sessions. There will be three 3 hour sessions (includes a break/s) and a one on one counselling session with the facilitator prior to the third group session.

  • Costs $800 which includes the Government fee of $67

  • $760 concession which includes the Government fee of $34

At Drive Safe Drive Right, we want you to succeed in attaining your driver’s licence.  By completing the Intensive Drink and Drug Driver Behaviour Change program, Drive Safe Drive Right will provide information to VicRoads in relation to your completion of the Behaviour Change Program.

FAQs

The Vicroads intensive drink and drug driver program helps second offenders work to get their licence back over three 3-hour sessions and one counselling session.

If you were charged with a DWI/DUI for a second time and had a BAC of .15 or more, you need to undertake this program to get your licence back. 

Once you pay the $800 fee ($760 if you qualify for a concession), you will attend three 3-hour sessions and a one-on-one counselling session before your last 3-hour session. To learn more about our services and what you can order from our shop (such as an interlock device), contact us today.

This course applies to you if:

  • It was your second or subsequent drink or drug-driving offence
  • Your BAC was .15 or more
  • You had both alcohol and drugs in your system
  • You were charged with a refusal offence for alcohol and or other drugs testing
  • You were charged with driving while impaired (DWI)
  • You were charged with driving under the influence (DUI)
  • You were charged with a serious motor vehicle offence involving alcohol and/or other drugs e.g. culpable driving.
